Day 6

Hi Killarney from the Congo. This morning Ruth & Lee left us to go to the hospital. They were there for the arrival of 6 emergencies. It sound like they will be able to offer quite a bit to the system here.
We ladies went to a ladies gathering. The music was spectacular! I think we died and went to Heaven! (It must have been on that road trip from Kigali.) Sharon was the guest speaker, and did a beautiful job of sharing. It seemed to be greatly appreciated by the approx. 700 guests!

We are just back from the “evening service”. (3:00 – 5:00) Pastor Darrell delivered a message on salvation and invited people to join in prayer at the end. After that, Pastor Raha asked for those wanting healing to come forward. After the alter area was full, we prayed with them.
Wishing you a “delightfully fresh and each” evening. (we picked that up from the toothpick bottle. Do you like it?)
Stan, I have a question, when I spoke to you on the phone, you said “where are you?! I’ve been gone 5 days, where did you think was?
Sending our love to all at home…..

Good to hear news from you. Can't wait to hear the differences between health care in the congo vs Manitoba. Storming here today. Roads are getting treacherous. Hope you are warm and really hope you remain safe.
You remain in our prayers

Joel and Laura..., your mom and dad are coming tomorrowWell, the snow is falling, and the girls had lots of fun playing outside, and will have more fun today, but praise the Lord for the wood stove which keeps us nice and warm inside..Yesterday power was off and on, and we ate supper by candle light. The girls were afraid first of all, andd then I reminded them that this was an adventure, and that we had much to be thankful for. Agood reminder for us.The kids have been really, really good and very obedient and helpful. Judah has been sleeping well, and he is such a ham, and loves to entertain us. We are waiting to hear if their is school today. Dad brought a load of wood, and spent one night here. It has been a privelege looking after these 3. You guys have relaly good kids.Laura, your mom and dad are coming tomoorrow, and then going to trev and Jamie's on Sunday for a baby shower. Love you guys. Praying all is well. love mom
